Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, fluent English-speaking Virtual Assistant to act as a live host for Whatnot streams — completely remote and voice-only.

You will be on a live call while products are displayed on camera. Your job is to engage viewers, respond quickly in real time, and create an energetic shopping experience. You do not need to handle inventory, shipping, or logistics.

This role is personality-driven. If you are quiet, robotic, or uncomfortable talking for long periods, this is not a good fit.

Primary Responsibilities

Speak live during Whatnot streams (voice-only, remote)

Greet new viewers and keep energy high throughout the stream

Respond quickly to live chat questions and comments

Encourage engagement (bidding, following, asking questions)

Clearly explain what is being shown and available for purchase

Maintain a friendly, confident, and conversational tone at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

These are non-negotiable:

Fluent, natural English (near-native or native level)

Very talkative, confident, and comfortable speaking live

Please answer what is 3+3 in the header of your application

Strong listening skills and fast response time

Able to think on your feet and keep conversations flowing

Reliable internet connection and clear microphone/audio

Comfortable being on live calls for extended periods

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Experience with live selling, streaming, or customer service

Familiarity with Whatnot, e-commerce, or online marketplaces

Sales or upselling experience

U.S. cultural familiarity (slang, tone, pacing)

Work Schedule

Flexible scheduling based on stream times

Some streams may be evenings or weekends (U.S. time zones)

Opportunity for consistent weekly hours if performance is strong
