JOB OVERVIEW

Luxury Remote Concierge (StayLuxe Vacations – Lake Tahoe)
Full Time · 40 hrs/week

Salary: $1,200–$1,600 USD/month

Schedule Note: This role operates on US Pacific Time hours and requires weekend availability. Please apply only if you can commit to a US-based schedule.

About StayLuxe Vacations
StayLuxe is a luxury vacation rental and hospitality company serving guests who stay in our curated portfolio of high-end homes in Lake Tahoe, with growing operations in Sacramento and Northern Virginia. Our brand is known for magazine-worthy design, meticulous attention to detail, and concierge-level service expected from premier hotels such as the Four Seasons.

We were recently featured on Season 4 of the Emmy Award-winning Destination Channel series StayCation and in Vogue magazine (December 2024).

We are growing and seeking a remote luxury concierge who can deliver warm, intuitive, highly polished guest experiences — all while sounding like a true local expert.

This is not a call-center or scripted VA role. This is a remote guest-facing, high-touch hospitality position for someone who genuinely understands nuance, context, and the expectations of affluent travelers.

Role Overview
As our Luxury Concierge, you will be responsible for:

Concierge Services (Primary Focus)
• Designing personalized itineraries for guests (dining, activities, events)
• Booking private chefs, massages, grocery stocking, ski rentals, kayak tours, and other upscale services
• Recommending Lake Tahoe-specific experiences with local-style warmth and authenticity
• Coordinating directly with our approved vendors (chefs, snow services, rentals, etc.)
• Managing all add-on service confirmations, reminders, and guest requests
• Accurately billing guests for concierge services, processing payments via Stripe, paying vendors, and tracking all transactions

Guest Relations (Shared Responsibility)

As a small remote hospitality team, everyone contributes to guest communication. You will regularly support our Guest Relations function, including:
• Answering guest questions pre-arrival (check-in details, amenities, policies)
• Supporting guests during their stay (non-technical issues)
• Handling time-sensitive situations as they arise

On days with fewer concierge requests, guest relations may be your primary focus. We're looking for someone who enjoys both the creative side of curating experiences and the responsive, service-oriented nature of guest support.

Decision Authority
You will have the authority to independently approve:
• Early check-in requests
• Late checkout requests
• Minor refunds ($25–$75)
• Time-sensitive guest issues requiring immediate action

What We're Looking For

Required — Non-Negotiable
• Exceptional English (near-native, no BPO or scripted tone)
• Ability to emulate Four Seasons-level warmth and hospitality
• Deep nuance understanding — able to read between the lines
• Warm, conversational, human writing style
• Detail obsession — checks vendor availability, ensures accuracy, prepares clean summaries
• Organized, methodical, and comfortable with numbers — you'll calculate service costs, apply markups, process payments, and ensure billing accuracy
• Experience using Slack and Google Sheets (or Excel)

Preferred
• Luxury hospitality experience (hotels, travel agencies, concierge roles)
• Experience with Airbnb/VRBO platforms
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple vendors
• Strong judgment and empathy when interacting with high-end guests

Personality Traits
• Warm, approachable, and conversational
• Meticulous and highly organized
• Calm under pressure
• Proactive and anticipatory ("What might the guest need next?")

Schedule
• Full-time, 40 hours/week
• US Pacific Time hours · Weekend availability required
• Schedule may shift · Overtime available
• 90-day probationary period

Tools You Will Use
You need prior experience with Slack, Google Sheets (or Excel), and Google Workspace (or Microsoft 365).

We will train you on:
• Airbnb / VRBO
• Stripe
• TouchStay
• Property Management Software
• Vendor booking workflows
• StayLuxe internal SOPs

Compensation
• $1,300–$1,700 USD/month (depending on experience and English mastery)
