Part-Time Social Media & Content Manager for Pediatric Therapy Practice

About NewDay Child Coaching
We're a virtual pediatric therapy practice serving families nationwide (USA) with evidence-based/evidence-informed developmental guidance for children ages 0-3. Our multidisciplinary team (Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy) helps parents move from "wait and see" to "watch and support" through our proprietary frameworks and educational resources.

We're actively growing our digital presence to reach more families who need proactive developmental support.

Position Overview
Role: Part-Time Social Media & Content Manager
Hours: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, Monday-Friday)
Rate: $4.00 per hour to start ($320/month), with opportunity for increase based on performance
Work Schedule: Flexible within your timezone, with some overlap during US Pacific hours preferred
Employment Type: Long-term, remote position with growth potential

What You'll Be Doing
Content Creation & Design (40% of time)

Design professional graphics, carousels, and social media posts using Canva
Create engaging educational content about child development milestones
Design promotional materials for our courses, newsletter, and lead magnets
Maintain brand consistency across all visual content
Adapt content for different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube)

Video Production (25% of time)

Edit short-form videos using CapCut for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
Add captions, transitions, music, and branded elements
Create engaging video content from existing footage and materials
Optimize videos for each platform's best practices

Social Media Management & Growth (25% of time)

Monitor and engage with followers across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
Respond to comments and messages professionally (following provided guidelines)
Implement strategies to convert our 16,000+ >Facebook community members to newsletter subscribers
Track analytics and report on growth metrics weekly
Schedule and post content consistently across all platforms
Research trending topics and hashtags in parenting/child development space

Website & SEO Support (10% of time)

Maintain and update our Wix website with new content
Optimize blog posts and pages with SEO keywords for child development topics
Update service pages, testimonials, and resource sections
Ensure site functionality and user experience remain optimal

Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:

~ Proven experience with Canva (portfolio required)
~ Video editing experience using CapCut (samples required)
~ Active social media management experience on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and/or YouTube
~ Wix website experience (editing pages, basic SEO)
~ Understanding of SEO fundamentals and keyword optimization
~ Excellent English writing skills - you'll be engaging with US-based parents
~ Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
~ Reliable internet connection and computer setup
~ Available for at least 6-month commitment

Preferred (Bonus Points):

-> Experience in healthcare, education, or family/parenting niche
-> Familiarity with Podia, email marketing platforms, or course platforms
-> Understanding of child development or therapy services
-> Experience growing and monetizing social media communities
-> Knowledge of Instagram/TikTok algorithm best practices
->Background in digital marketing or content strategy

Important Details

A: Potentially yes. As we launch new courses and expand our reach, there may be opportunity for 30-40 hours/week.

A: No clinical background needed! We'll provide all the content direction and education you need. Enthusiasm for learning is what matters.
Q: What tools will I need?
A: You'll need Canva (free or Pro account), CapCut (free), (we have both Canva + CapCut paid accounts that you can use as well) and ability to access our social media accounts and Wix site.
