JOB OVERVIEW

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HubSpot Business Development Representative to manage outbound outreach, nurture existing relationships, and move opportunities through our sales pipeline. This role is critical to driving deal flow, maintaining clean CRM data, and ensuring opportunities progress smoothly from first contact to closed transaction.
This is a HubSpot-centric role. You will not be responsible for configuring HubSpot, but you will be expected to use it consistently and accurately.

Core Responsibilities
1. Outreach & Relationship Development
Conduct outbound outreach to existing customers and warm contacts via email and phone
Re-engage past customers to identify:
Equipment they may be selling
Referrals to others looking to sell equipment
Build rapport through ongoing, value-based communication
Log all outreach and conversations in HubSpot

2. Deal Intake & Qualification
Identify and qualify potential listings and sales opportunities
Collect key deal information including:
Equipment type, make, model, year, hours
Location and ownership details
Photos and basic condition notes
Coordinate next steps such as:
Requesting photos
Scheduling on-site visits
Setting up conference calls with decision-makers

3. HubSpot Pipeline Management
Create and manage deals in HubSpot
Move deals through defined pipeline stages accurately
Ensure all notes, emails, calls, and attachments are properly logged
Flag incomplete or stalled deals for follow-up
Maintain clean, organized records so leadership always has visibility into deal status

4. Listing & Asset Coordination
Once photos are received:
Organize assets in Google Drive
Post listings to approved platforms
Ensure listings are accurate, professional, and compliant with branding requirements
Coordinate with leadership on pricing, approvals, and go-live timing

5. Transaction Support & Closing Coordination
Support deal flow through closing by:
Following up with buyers and sellers
Coordinating logistics and shipping details
Assisting with documentation and communication
Ensure closed deals are properly marked and documented in HubSpot

Tools You’ll Use
HubSpot (daily use – required)
Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Sheets)
RingCentral (phone system)
Listing platforms for equipment sales

Ideal Candidate Profile
Comfortable working inside a CRM (HubSpot experience preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organized, reliable, and process-driven
Confident following up with customers and asking direct questions
Able to manage multiple deals at different stages without losing details
Self-motivated and able to work independently

Compensation & Upside
Base compensation
Performance-based incentives tied to monthly sales and closed deals
