Part-Time WordPress Webmaster (Long-Term)
I’m a professional actor, writer, and producer with an active international career, and I’m looking for a reliable, detail-oriented WordPress webmaster to help manage and maintain my acting website and multiple related landing pages. These pages support tour dates, festivals, press, media, and ongoing updates as the work evolves. This is a long-term, part-time role and not a one-off freelance gig. I’m looking for someone interested in growing with the brand over time.
The role will begin at approximately 10 hours per week, working fully async. There is no fixed schedule as long as the work is completed accurately and on time. The starting rate is $4 per hour, with planned increases to $5 per hour and beyond based on performance, reliability, and expanded responsibility.
Your work will include updating website content such as bios, show descriptions, tour dates, and press quotes; uploading and embedding media including photos, videos, podcasts, and reviews; creating and updating landing pages within WordPress using existing themes; publishing blog or news posts; fixing broken links and formatting issues; maintaining basic on-page SEO hygiene such as page titles and meta descriptions; and general site upkeep and quality control. Over time, you may also suggest layout or UX improvements and help streamline the site structure as the brand grows.
Strong WordPress experience is required. You should be comfortable working inside an existing theme, following brand guidelines, and paying close attention to detail. Clear written English, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed are important. Experience with Divi Builder is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is perfectly fine. Basic SEO knowledge and experience supporting personal brands or creative professionals are also a plus.
We will work primarily asynchronously, with a short written check-in each week and a monthly check-in if needed. Day-to-day communication will be via WhatsApp when necessary. I value clear communication, consistency, and steady improvement more than speed.
Short-listed candidates will be asked to complete a small paid test task to ensure the role is a good fit for both sides.
To apply, please include a brief introduction, your WordPress experience, any experience with Divi Builder if applicable, links to one or two WordPress sites you’ve worked on, and a short note on why you’re interested in a long-term role rather than short freelance projects. Applicants who clearly read and respond to this post will be prioritized.
