Video Review & Transcription Assistant

DESCRIPTION:
I am looking for a reliable virtual assistant to help with reviewing, organizing, and summarizing home security camera footage (Ring system).

This role involves logging into a Ring account, reviewing video footage, fast-forwarding through non-relevant motion (cats trigger constant movement), identifying segments with human interaction or spoken dialogue, saving relevant clips, and uploading them to a shared file location.

After videos are saved, the role will later expand to creating brief written summaries and, when requested, full English transcripts of specific clips.

This work requires patience, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately. Most footage is uneventful; the key skill is identifying when something matters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Log into Ring account and review daily camera footage
- Fast-forward through non-relevant motion (pets, empty rooms)
- Identify and save clips with human presence or spoken conversation
- Upload saved clips to a shared folder using a consistent naming system
- Create short summaries describing what occurred in each clip
- Later phase: rewatch selected clips and prepare written transcripts in English
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong written and spoken English
- Comfortable reviewing video footage for extended periods
- Able to follow detailed instructions and naming conventions
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Discretion and confidentiality are critical

PAY:
Hourly, competitive for part-time $ 3.26-3.60/hr
