Composite Carpentry | 10–20 hours/week to start (hours will adjust and likely increase as needed)
Who we are
We’re a small construction company that runs on craftsmanship and clean systems. We care deeply about accuracy—pricing, timelines, communication, and execution—and we’re building high-level internal tools to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. We’re a small team with varied personalities, a fun work environment, and a serious drive to build the strongest systems possible.
Who this is for
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys the “in the weeds” work—digging through messy historical info, tracking down missing numbers, and turning chaos into a clean, reliable system. If you’re the type who can happily spend an hour chasing one missing data point because you want the model to be correct, you’ll fit well here.
What you’ll work on (initial focus)
Your first mission is building our estimating/pricing data foundation:
Compile historical labor time totals and organize them into a graded list of task averages (then refine those averages for current pricing strategy)

Reconstruct historical material pricing (from past projects and sources)

Pull from everywhere needed: Google Drive/Sheets, JobTread, Joist, DocuSign, and occasionally emails/photos/messages to confirm details

Deliver a clean, structured, visually excellent Google Sheets system that we can use for estimating templates, AI reference sheets, and online estimators

Core requirements (must-have)
Fluent English (clear communication is critical)

Google Sheets expert: advanced formulas, clean structure, linking/importing across sheets/files, building a “system of sheets,” repeatable templates, and high visual/formatting standards (beautiful + readable + dependable)

Data cleanup + investigation: comfortable reconciling messy/old data, de-duplicating, filling gaps, validating numbers, and documenting assumptions

Expert-level math + pricing formulation: can build estimate formulas/models from multiple angles (labor/task averages, priced per unit, materials, overhead, markup, options/scenarios) for use in templates, AI, and calculators

Highly detail-obsessed: accuracy is your default setting; you don’t hand-wave numbers

Open to learning new software (we’ll be working in Slack + JobTread daily)

Strong bonus if you have it (nice-to-have)
Data scraping experience (especially for real-time material pricing)

QuickBooks familiarity

Slack / Google Drive power-user habits

Basic Python or other data tooling

Lead tracking / marketing attribution experience

How we work
Fully remote

We live in Slack (communication + teamwork) and operate in JobTread (projects/customers)

We cross-check each other’s work, discuss what “right” looks like, and keep standards high

You’ll be supported by our company owner and manager and our admin/bookkeeper as resources, but you’re expected to be independent and ownership-driven

Role notes
This is a new position and will evolve. We’ll start with the estimating/pricing system buildout, then expand into future areas as the foundation becomes solid (KPIs, operations reporting, lead tracking insights, calculators, and other system upgrades).
How to apply
Apply through onlinejobs.ph. We’ll review applications and reach out to candidates we want to move forward with.
