Short Form Video Editor

I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently recruiting a video editor to work with me on my day-in-the-life content that I post on my ---------- looking to scale this to around four-seven vlogs per week, alongside some lighter educational-style videos and short skits that are easier to edit and manage.

This role requires exclusive work on my content during working hours (no other clients or jobs during these hours).

In addition to your base monthly rate, there will be a performance based bonus reviewed at the end of each month, linked to quality of edits, turnaround time, communication, reliability and overall contribution to content growth.

As a simple performance incentive, if total monthly views beat the previous month’s views, I will also add a $100 performance tip for that month. This is on top of your base rate and any other performance bonus discussed.

Total hours: 40 hours per week

Weekends (20 hours total):
Saturday and Sunday
London time: 12:00pm – 10:00pm
Philippines time: 8:00pm – 6:00am (next day)

Midweek (20 hours total):
Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day
London time: 7:00pm – 11:00pm
Philippines time: 3:00am – 7:00am (next day)

During these hours I expect:
• Exclusive focus on my videos only
• Ability to turn around edits within 24 hours when required
• Very fast communication on WhatsApp (within 5 minutes during working hours)
• Availability to pick up calls during working hours when needed
• Fluent English, strong listening skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Proactive communication if you are unwell or unavailable

Please confirm clearly:

Are you able to commit to these exact working hours long term?

Are you comfortable working late night and early morning shifts in Philippines time?

Can you commit to exclusive work on my content during these hours?

If I send footage at night UK time and need it ready by the next evening, are you comfortable with this turnaround consistently?

How do you normally handle feedback and revisions? Are you comfortable doing multiple quick revision rounds if needed?

If you think a section could be more engaging or a joke could land better, would you suggest changes or stick strictly to instructions?

Do you have any regular commitments that would conflict with these hours?

What is your current internet speed and editing setup?
