Qualifications
Accounting Knowledge: Previous experience working in accounting or bookkeeping
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy when reviewing financial data and policy documents
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple policies, deadlines, and documentation efficiently
Communication Skills: Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Tech-Savvy: Proficient with accounting software, spreadsheets, and document management tools
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze commission statements, policies, and discrepancies
Time Management: Able to meet deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and resolving them independently
Discretion & Confidentiality: High standards when handling sensitive financial and client data
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt within the insurance industry
Responsibilities
Commission reconciliation and tracking
Reviewing commission statements for accuracy
Identifying and resolving discrepancies
Maintaining organized financial records
Enter expenses in QuickBooks
Collect, Encode, and Track Receipts, Invoices, and Payments made.
Communicating with internal tea
Supporting accounting and administrative processes as needed
