Job Title
Senior Local SEO and Google Business Profile Manager

Role Overview
You own local and organic search performance.
You manage Google Business Profiles and full website SEO.
You act as the primary point of contact for clients.
You communicate results, strategy, and next steps clearly.

Core Responsibilities

Client Communication
Serve as the main contact for assigned clients.
Communicate directly with clients on performance, strategy, and updates.
Explain SEO actions and results in clear, non-technical language.
Lead monthly strategy calls with clients.
Respond to client messages promptly and professionally.
Manage expectations and timelines.

Google Business Profile Management
Create, optimize, and manage Google Business Profiles.
Publish 3 geo-tagged posts per day with targeted keywords and images.
Improve visibility in low-ranking map areas.
Manage Google Map embeds and geo-targeted pages.

Review and Reputation Management
Monitor and reply to reviews within 1 hour.
Handle unlimited review responses.
Escalate sensitive reviews when needed.
Run past-client review outreach campaigns.
Execute proactive email and SMS review campaigns.

Citation and Directory Management
Build and clean citations weekly.
Manage listings across Google, Bing, Yahoo, Apple Maps, and niche directories.
Execute aggressive citation expansion campaigns.
Ensure NAP consistency across all platforms.

Website SEO and Content Optimization
Perform keyword research and competitor analysis.
Optimize service pages and blog content.
Rewrite URLs where needed.
Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, and H tags.
Manage geo-targeted landing pages.
Apply ongoing SEO improvements to the website and GBP.

Technical SEO
Improve site speed and performance.
Ensure mobile responsiveness.
Manage robots.txt and XML sitemaps.
Implement redirects correctly.
Apply schema markup.
Fix crawl and indexing issues.

Content and Off-Page SEO
Publish 7 off-page articles per month.
Execute WEB 2.0 submissions.
Support ongoing blog and service page content development.

Backlinks and Authority Building
Analyze backlink profiles.
Build targeted backlinks monthly.
Run full backlink campaigns.
Track and report link growth and quality.

Competitor Monitoring
Monitor competitor rankings and activity.
Identify opportunities and threats.
Report competitive movements.

Call Tracking and Conversions
Set up and manage advanced call tracking.
Track source attribution.
Report on conversions and call performance.

Reporting and Strategy
Produce monthly reports covering traffic, calls, rankings, and trends.
Maintain Google Data Studio dashboards.
Track keyword rankings.
Lead monthly strategy sessions with clients.
Recommend and implement growth initiatives.

Support and Communication
Provide responsive client support.
Communicate clearly, confidently, and proactively.
Own client relationships and outcomes.

Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience managing Google Business Profiles at scale.
Strong local SEO and technical SEO expertise.
Strong client communication and presentation skills.
Hands-on experience with citation tools and link-building.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Experience with call tracking platforms.
Ability to manage multiple clients independently.
