About Us
NinjaChat is a fast-growing AI SaaS platform with strong SEO-driven top-of-funnel growth (1,500+ free signups per day). Our biggest challenge is activation and conversion — helping users quickly experience real value and converting them into paying customers.

This is not a VA role. This role owns user activation and early monetization outcomes.

Role Overview
We are hiring a Lifecycle & Activation Manager to own the first-time user experience, onboarding, and early lifecycle messaging. Your job is to ensure new users reach the “aha ---------- nt” as fast as possible and clearly understand why and when they should upgrade.

You will work closely with the founder, Growth Ops, and the Conversion & Monetization Engineer.

This role requires strong product thinking, user empathy, and a data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

User Activation & Onboarding
- Own the first-session and first-day user experience
- Reduce time-to-value for new users
- Identify and remove friction in onboarding flows
- Improve clarity of what the product does and why it matters
- Help users reach the “aha ---------- nt” within minutes, not days

Lifecycle Messaging
- Design and improve onboarding emails
- Create in-app messages, prompts, and nudges
- Trigger upgrade prompts based on user behavior
- Reduce confusion and overwhelm for new users

Conversion Support
- Reinforce value and urgency to upgrade
- Work with paywall and trial logic (in partnership with engineering)
- Help frame why users should pay now, not later
- Support free-to-paid conversion within first 24–72 hours

Data & Insights
- Use PostHog or similar tools to analyze user behavior
- Identify where users disengage or get stuck
- Propose experiments to improve activation and retention
- Measure impact of changes on conversion and engagement

Collaboration
- Work closely with Conversion & Monetization Engineer on experiments
- Share insights with Growth Operations Manager
- Communicate findings clearly and regularly

Required Qualifications
- Experience with SaaS onboarding, activation, or lifecycle marketing
- Strong understanding of user behavior and funnels
- Data-driven mindset (comfortable using analytics tools)
- Strong written English and clear communication
- Proactive, opinionated, and takes ownership

Nice to Have
- PostHog or product analytics experience
- Email lifecycle or in-app messaging experience
- Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) background
- Subscription SaaS experience
- AI or tech product familiarity

- Not customer support
- Not social media management
- Not SEO or content marketing
- Not design-only

This role exists to improve activation and early conversion.

Work Details
- Full-time
- Remote (Philippines or global)
- Hours per week: 40
- Monthly pay: $900–$1,500 USD (based on experience)
- Performance bonuses tied to activation and conversion improvements

- Increased % of users activating in first session
- Improved free-to-paid conversion within 72 hours
- Clear, actionable lifecycle insights delivered weekly
