Overview
We’re hiring a photo editor to clean, enhance, and standardize raw photo libraries for our clients. Photos may come directly from clients or from photographers we send onsite. Your role is to turn raw, imperfect photos into clean, professional, on-brand assets for websites, ads, and social media—without over-editing or artificial effects.
This is execution-focused editing, not creative photography.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw photo libraries (JPEG/RAW) for remodeling, interior design, and construction clients
- Correct exposure, color balance, and lighting consistency
- Straighten lines and correct perspective
- Crop and frame for clean composition
- Remove minor distractions (cords, blemishes, dust, clutter)
- Maintain a realistic, professional look (no heavy filters)
- Export images for web, ads, social, and print
- Organize files and deliver on time
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Lightroom and/or Photoshop
- Strong eye for realism and clean presentation
- Experience editing interiors, exteriors, homes, or job-site photos
- Ability to follow instructions and style guidelines precisely
- Fast turnaround and reliable communication
- Clean file naming and delivery habits
Nice to Have
- Real estate, remodeling, or interior design photo experience
- Batch-editing large photo libraries efficiently
- Understanding of marketing use cases (web vs ads vs social)
- Experience with Google Drive or Dropbox
What We Evaluate
- Following instructions exactly
- Consistency across an entire photo set
- Judgment (what to fix vs what to leave)
- Turnaround speed
- File organization and delivery quality
Work Structure
- Gig-based / as-needed
- Tasks assigned per client or photo set
- Clear instructions provided with each task
- Typical turnaround: 24–72 hours, depending on volume
- No client communication required
Ideal Candidate
- Detail-oriented and dependable
- Comfortable executing within a defined system
- Focused on quality and consistency over creativity
- Looking for gig-based work at an hourly rate
