JOB OVERVIEW

The Mission: We are building Wednesday Waffles, the world's greatest friendship app, at Network School in Forest City, Malaysia—a futuristic "ghost city" that looks like a sci-fi movie. We are documenting our journey to 1 Million Weekly Active Users, and we need a partner to tell that story.

The Vibe (Must Read): We are NOT looking for "brain rot" content, flashing subtitles every 0.2 seconds, or generic "Hormozi" style edits. We ARE looking for Storytelling. Think Casey Neistat, Jay Hoovy, or Sam Kolder. We want to bring the audience along the journey, not just yell at them. You will be our Creative Partner, not just an editor.

The Role (Responsibilities):

Daily "Builder" Vlogs (The Core): I provide 30-50 raw clips/day + a voiceover. You weave them into a compelling 3-minute story.

Creative Direction: You tell me how to film better. If you need a specific transition or angle for tomorrow's video, you direct me.

Podcast Clips: We record a 60-90 min weekly podcast. You cut it into short, engaging segments with clean captions and sound design.

Trends & Reactions: Quick-turnaround edits based on what is trending on TikTok/Reels that day.

Social Management: Use Hootsuite to schedule posts and analyze what is working so we can improve together.

Required Skills:

Advanced Storytelling: You understand pacing, music choice, and emotional arcs.

Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for color/sound, plus CapCut for trending effects.

Sound Design: You know how to use sound to create depth (not just background music).

Visual Flair: Experience with manual font placement (depth effects, text behind objects) to make the video feel "premium."

How to Apply: Please reply with the subject line: "I am a Storyteller, not a Robot". Include a link to ONE video that shows your best storytelling (not just fancy transitions). Tell me why you chose the music for that video.
