Isak Fire Protection is a rapidly growing, multi-state fire protection contractor specializing in fire sprinklers, fire alarms, suppression systems, inspections, and service work. We work on commercial, industrial, and residential projects and pride ourselves on high standards, strong systems, and professional execution.

We are seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee projects from contract award through close-out while coordinating internal teams, clients, and AHJs.


Key Responsibilities
• Manage multiple fire protection projects from kickoff to final acceptance
• Review contracts, scopes, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate with designers, fitters, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors
• Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and material procurement
• Submit and track shop drawings, permits, inspections, and approvals
• Interface with AHJs, GCs, property owners, and engineers
• Track change orders, RFIs, billing, and project documentation
• Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company SOPs
• Maintain accurate job cost tracking and margin control
• Close out projects including as-builts, warranties, and final documentation


Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in fire sprinkler or project management
• Fire protection experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25 and local AHJ requirements
• Experience managing commercial and/or industrial projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in project management and documentation tools (Procore, Zoho, or similar preferred)
• Fire protection or construction-related certifications are a plus

Work will be done 8am-4pm Chicago time
