About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Accounting Specialist to manage our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, inventory reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financing relationships, and ensuring clean, reliable financial statements.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on bookkeeping experience, understands how numbers flow through a business, and is comfortable working with balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and inventory accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP)
• Process vendor bills, invoices, and payments accurately and on time
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Track payment terms and manage cash flow timing

Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Issue invoices and track customer payments
• Follow up on outstanding receivables
• Reconcile customer accounts and deposits

Inventory Accounting
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Reconcile inventory balances between systems, warehouses, and accounting software
• Track landed costs, COGS, and inventory adjustments
• Assist with monthly and year-end inventory reconciliations

Financial Reporting
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Cash Flow reports
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
• Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and audit-ready

Financing & Compliance Support
• Support bank, lender, and financing requests
• Assist with financial reporting required for loans or credit facilities
• Maintain clean, well-organized accounting records

Qualifications
• 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, Balance Sheets, and P&L statements
• Solid experience with inventory reconciliations
• Experience supporting financing, lending, or bank reporting
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Excel/Google Sheets
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Experience in import/export, wholesale, e-commerce, or manufacturing
• Experience with multi-entity accounting
• Familiarity with inventory-heavy businesses
• Experience working with CPA firms or auditors
