About us
Venture to Bloom is a content studio based in Maryland, USA. We run pop-up content creation days for entrepreneurs and small business owners in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area. We help business owners create professional video and photo content that actually drives revenue, not just likes.

We're growing and need help setting up our marketing automation systems. This is a project-based role with potential for ongoing work if it's a good fit.

The role
We need someone to build out our email and SMS marketing infrastructure from scratch. You'll be setting up automated sequences that nurture leads, confirm bookings, and follow up with past clients.

This is a setup-focused project with clear deliverables. Once the systems are built, there may be ongoing maintenance work available.

What you'll be doing
Setting up and configuring MailerLite account with proper tagging structure
Building automated email sequences (we'll provide all the copy)
Setting up our SimpleTexting account for SMS campaigns
Creating SMS sequences and automations
Connecting Google Forms to MailerLite using Zapier
Setting up lead segmentation so the right people get the right emails
Testing all automations to make sure they work correctly
Documenting the setup so we can manage it going forward

Requirements
Must have:
Experience with MailerLite (or similar platforms like ConvertKit, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign)
Experience building email automation sequences and workflows
Experience with Zapier or ---------- for connecting apps
Understanding of email tagging, segmentation, and list management
Google Forms experience (or ability to learn quickly)
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Clear communication in English

Nice to have:
SMS marketing platform experience (SlickText, SimpleTexting, or similar)
Experience with event booking platforms (Eventbrite, Calendly, Acuity)
Landing page setup experience
CRM experience
