Part Time Social Media Manager (Video Focus)

We are seeking a part-time Social Media Manager (Video Focus) to manage and grow our presence across key social platforms, with a strong emphasis on short-form video content.

This role is execution-heavy and suited to someone who is comfortable taking raw ideas or source material and turning them into consistent, high-quality social content. You will work primarily across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, supporting brand visibility, audience growth, and engagement.

The role suits a hands-on operator rather than a strategist. Clear briefs will be provided, but you are expected to execute independently and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain social media accounts across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
- Schedule and publish content consistently according to agreed cadence
- Monitor comments and basic engagement where required
- Adhere/maintain content calendars and track output

Video Content & Editing
- Edit short-form video content optimised for social platforms
- Repurpose longer-form content into clips suitable for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
- Apply captions, formatting, and basic motion where appropriate
- Ensure content aligns with brand tone and platform best practices

Creative Support
- Create supporting visual assets using Canva
- Adapt templates and formats to maintain consistency
- Assist with simple copy and captions where required
- Tools & Automation
- Use or experiment with AI-assisted video tools where helpful
- Work efficiently with modern content and scheduling tools

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or creators
- STRONG video editing skills, particularly short form
- Comfortable working across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram
- Solid Canva experience
- Good written English and attention to detail particularly with captions
- Familiarity with AI video or content generation tools is a bonus, not a requirement
- Experience working with business, professional, or educational content is preferred.
