JOB OVERVIEW

We’re hiring a Legal Intake Specialist to handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to inquiries, and qualify potential clients for our law firm. This is a communication-heavy role focused on listening, asking the right questions, and guiding callers to the next step. We welcome applicants with strong sales ability and excellent communication skills—especially those with local law firm experience or any legal-related work background.

Key Responsibilities

Answer inbound calls, emails, and messages from potential clients

Conduct client intake: gather case details, basic background, and key facts

Qualify leads based on firm guidelines (type of case, urgency, eligibility)

Explain next steps clearly and professionally (consultation scheduling, required info)

Schedule consultations and maintain accurate appointment notes

Document all interactions in CRM/case management tools

Follow up with leads to improve show-up rates and conversions

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care

What We’re Looking For (Basic Requirements)

Strong communication skills (clear English, professional phone etiquette)

Sales mindset: confident, persuasive, and able to guide calls toward booking/next steps

Comfortable with high-volume calls and structured questioning

Organized and detail-oriented (accurate note-taking is a must)

Reliable internet, headset, and a quiet workspace

Preferred Qualifications (Accepted if you have any of these)

Local law firm experience (intake, receptionist, paralegal support, legal assistant, etc.)

Legal-related career experience (claims, compliance, court/admin work, legal BPO, etc.)

Experience using CRMs, phone systems, or case management tools

Nice to Have

Experience handling sensitive or emotional callers

Familiarity with common practice areas (PI, family, immigration, workers comp, etc.)

Background in call center, customer service, or appointment setting

High-quality intake notes with minimal missing info

Strong conversion from inquiry ? consultation scheduled

Professional, calm handling of every caller

Consistent follow-ups and accurate tracking
