About the Role
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Headhunter to identify, engage, and place high-caliber talent in key roles. This position requires strong sourcing skills, relationship-building ability, and a proactive approach to recruiting passive candidates within Canada.
Key Responsibilities
*Proactively source, identify, and engage qualified candidates using multiple channels (LinkedIn, referrals, networking, databases, cold outreach)
*Conduct initial candidate screenings and in-depth interviews
*Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive and active candidates
*Partner with hiring managers and clients to understand role requirements and hiring priorities
*Present qualified candidates and manage the interview process end-to-end
*Negotiate offers and support successful placements
*Maintain accurate documentation in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
*Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activity
Qualifications
*Proven experience as a Headhunter, Recruiter, or Talent Acquisition Specialist
*Strong sourcing and cold outreach skills (preferably with experience in sourcing and interviewing candidates from Canada)
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to assess candidate fit beyond resumes (culture, motivation, long-term potential)
*Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
*Strong organizational and time management skills
*Experience with ATS and recruiting platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
*Experience recruiting for candidates residing in Canada
*Established professional network within target industries
*Agency recruiting experience
*Track record of meeting or exceeding placement targets
