JOB OVERVIEW

1. Role Overview
Position: Marketing Operations & Content VA
Status: Part-time (15–25 hours per week)
Compensation: $500 – $600 USD / month (starting)
Location: Remote (International)
Core Objective: To turn raw project footage into a consistent, "premium" brand presence that generates leads for $15k–$20k pond builds and high-margin maintenance services.

2. Key Responsibilities
Short-Form Video: Edit raw site footage into daily Reels/TikToks/Shorts (syncing to music, adding captions, and using engaging hooks).
Social Media: Create simple yet engaging graphics that show the company’s professionalism and quality of work.
Social Management: Daily posting and scheduling across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Email
Marketing: Create and deploy 1x weekly educational "Pond Tip" email to the existing client base.
Website Maintenance: Perform basic text/image updates to the company website to reflect current seasons and offers.
Process Documentation: Assist the owner in documenting marketing workflows and tracking weekly KPIs (engagement and lead volume).
Must be able to communicate via Google Meet and email. 24 hour response time required during the work week. (Central Time USA)

3. Required Qualifications
Video Editing: Proven experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or Canva Video (portfolio required).
Copywriting: Ability to write professional, "human" English for homeowners. Experience using AI (ChatGPT/Claude) to polish copy is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Email Marketing tools (Mailchimp/Klaviyo) and Social Media Schedulers (Meta Business Suite).
Design Aesthetic: An eye for "luxury/outdoor lifestyle" content. You understand how to make construction look like a "peaceful retreat."
Reliability: Must be able to manage deadlines independently and communicate via Slack/WhatsApp/Email daily.
Graphic Design: Proficient in Canva or Adobe for simple graphics and promotions
Website: Bonus if you have experience with Wordpress websites and make edits/updates

Bonus Qualifications: Good understanding of Google PPC, Facebook Ads and ---------- .

4. The Selection Process: Phase 1 Trial Task
We do not hire based on resumes alone. All top candidates will be asked to complete the following paid/unpaid trial to demonstrate their skill set:
Task A: The "Hook" Edit
Using the provided raw footage, create one 30-second Reel.
Goal: Make the viewer feel the "peace" of a backyard pond.
Requirement: Include a text-overlay hook and trending background audio.
Task B: Educational Copy
Write a 3-sentence "Pond Tip" for a customer email regarding seasonal pond care (e.g., preparing for spring or fall).
Goal: Provide value without being "salesy."
Task C: Workflow Proof
Briefly describe (3-4 bullet points) how you prefer to receive raw files and how you keep a content calendar organized.
