Job Title: Media Planner
About the Role
We’re looking for a Media Planner to take full ownership of building compelling, data-driven media plans that support our sales team in winning new business. This role sits at the intersection of sales, strategy, creative and and media, translating client briefs and commercial opportunities into clear, effective media proposals.
You’ll be responsible for shaping how our media solutions are presented to clients — ensuring every plan is strategically sound, commercially strong, and aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end creation of media plans to support the sales team across pitches, and proposals in line with the proposed creative, which have clarity so that activation teams can pick up and move fast.
- Build clear, persuasive media plans that showcase our platforms, formats, and audience strengths
- Work closely with Sales to understand commercial goals and tailor plans to individual client KPIs.
- Be open to structuring plans in various ways and use different buying models (CPM, CPV, CPE, Tenancy)
- Ensure plans are built within CoS parameters and are structured in a way that CoS is likely to be under control.
- Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, partnerships, insights, and operations) to ensure plans are accurate, achievable, and scalable
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our media products, powerups, pricing, audience data, and performance benchmarks
- Ensure all media plans are delivered on time, to a high standard, and with attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in media planning, media strategy, or a sales-support role within digital, social, or publisher media
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to client deadlines
- Strong understanding of digital and social media formats, audience targeting, and campaign objectives
- Commercially minded, with the ability to build plans that balance performance, creativity, and revenue goals
- Confident working with sales teams and stakeholders across different levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to clearly explain the “why” behind a plan
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple briefs at once
- Comfortable working with data, insights, and performance metrics to inform recommendations
Nice to Have
- Experience working with social publishers, influencer media, or content-led media environments
- Familiarity with campaign reporting and performance analysis
