Position Overview

Lionsgate Financial Group is seeking a Junior Loan Processor / Mortgage Underwriter for a remote position.

This is a support focused, high efficiency role designed to assist the Sales Manager and Senior Underwriter with file analysis, application preparation, and pipeline management. You are expected to handle a high volume of files, respond quickly to text based communications, and follow structured internal workflows.

This role does not involve direct voice communication with borrowers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales Manager with analyzing incoming mortgage files
• Review applications for completeness and accuracy
• Perform data entry for mortgage applications and supporting documentation
• Prepare and issue pre approval packages by following step by step internal instructions
• Track file progress and maintain accurate call and activity logs
• Respond promptly to internal and external text based communications
• Ensure files are organized and ready for underwriting and lender submission
• Support the Senior Underwriter with file preparation and condition tracking
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance across all client files

Process Flow

Review Department issues LOI and collects initial documents

File is transferred to Sales Support and Underwriting

You complete data entry, document review, and file organization

Pre approval packages are issued following internal instructions

File is submitted to Senior Underwriter for deal structure

Approved files move to Funding for closing

Our in house systems and structured workflow provide clear guidance at every stage.

Communication Scope

• No direct voice communication with borrowers
• Primary communication is via text, internal systems, and written updates
• Fast, clear written communication is essential

General Requirements

• Successful completion of Lionsgate University training
• Understanding of mortgage and finance fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to manage high volumes under time sensitive conditions
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Comfortable working in a Windows based environment
• Ability to follow structured, step by step processes
• Professional written communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote role

Operational Note

Our Sales Department is expanding to operate 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Availability and flexibility within scheduled shifts is required.
