Website Developer & SEO Specialist (Ongoing Management)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Website Developer who can manage, maintain, and regularly update our company website. This is an ongoing role, not a one-off build. You will be responsible for keeping the website updated, optimised, secure, and visible online.

The ideal candidate understands both front-end and back-end website management and has strong SEO knowledge to ensure the business remains active and easy to find online.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company website on an ongoing basis

Update content, pages, images, and layouts as required

Work confidently within the website back office and CMS

Implement and manage SEO best practices

Improve website speed, performance, and structure

Ensure the website is mobile-friendly and up to date

Monitor and fix bugs, errors, or broken links

Keep the website secure and backed up

Support visibility through on-page SEO and basic analytics

Make regular improvements to help the company stay active and visible online

Required Skills & Experience:

Proven experience as a Website Developer or Website Manager

Strong knowledge of website CMS platforms such as WordPress or similar

Solid understanding of SEO, including on-page SEO and site structure

Experience working with website back offices and admin panels

Ability to update websites without constant supervision

Basic understanding of website security and performance optimisation

Good communication skills and reliability

Nice to Have:

Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console

Experience with local SEO

Experience managing business or service-based websites
