Long-form YouTube Video Editor (Narrative / Commentary)

We are looking for an experienced Long-form YouTube Video Editor to edit 10-minute analytical / commentary videos focused on global news, geopolitics, and business topics.

This role is not for short-form TikTok-style editing.
We need someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and viewer retention in long-form YouTube content.

Responsibilities
• Edit 8–12 minute YouTube videos based on voiceover scripts
• Build clear narrative flow and maintain viewer attention throughout the video
• Insert relevant B-roll, charts, maps, headlines, and visual references
• Apply clean jump cuts and pacing adjustments (not over-editing)
• Add selective subtitles only for key points, transitions, and conclusions
• Manage basic audio cleanup and balance voice clarity
• Ensure all footage used follows copyright and Fair Use guidelines
• Deliver final videos optimized for YouTube retention
