JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Operations Manager
DTC Supplements Brand — Part-Time, Remote (30 hours/week)
About Us
We're a growing US-based DTC supplements brand. We sell directly to customers through Shopify and manage everything from fulfillment to subscriptions to customer service.
We're looking for a Senior Operations Manager to own day-to-day ops, supervise our teams, and keep everything running smoothly. You'll report directly to the Ops Lead with weekly syncs — but you'll run operations independently.
This is not an entry-level VA role. We need someone who can take ownership, make judgment calls, and solve problems without constant direction.
The Role
You'll be the central hub for operations — collecting reports, tracking tasks, following up on deliverables, supervising teams, and making first-level decisions. You'll have clear guidelines on what you can d ---------- vs. what to escalate.
This is a good fit if you:

Have run operations for a DTC brand before
Can manage multiple departments independently
Make good judgment calls under pressure
Communicate proactively — no one should have to chase you
Want ownership, not just tasks

This is NOT a good fit if you:

Need constant direction
Wait to be told what to do
Have only worked as a task-based VA

Key Responsibilities

Daily: Monitor ops departments (CS, Inventory, Fulfillment, Bookkeeper) via Slack. Track ClickUp tasks. Handle escalations. Follow up on agency deliverables.
Weekly: Collect reports from all departments. Prepare ops report. Update ops scoreboard (Friday). Check post-purchase flows. Weekly sync call with Ops Lead.
Bi-Weekly: Site health check (checkout, discount codes, pages). Pull subscription data.
Monthly: Pull post-purchase report data.
As Needed: QA for landing pages and CRO tests (mobile/desktop, checkout flow). New product setup in Shopify. Get supplier quotes. Coordinate new product launches.

Team Supervision
You'll supervise these departments — collecting reports, ensuring quality, flagging issues, and holding them accountable:

CS Manager & Team
Inventory Team (2 people)
Fulfillment / 3PL relationship
Bookkeeper

Requirements

4+ years experience in operations for DTC/ecommerce brand (required)
Experience managing or supervising teams (required)
Experience with Shopify (required)
Experience with ClickUp, Asana, or similar task management tools
Strong English — written and verbal
Reliable, proactive communicator
Available during CET (UTC +1) business hours

Strong Plus:

Experience with Shopify page builders (PageFly, Shogun, GemPages, or theme editor)
Familiar with Figma — can view designs and compare to live pages
Has done QA for landing pages or dev work before
Experience with subscription apps (Stay AI, Recharge, Skio)
Experience with post-purchase apps (AfterSell, Reconvert)
Experience managing 3PL/fulfillment relationships
Experience with inventory planning or supply chain

Schedule & Compensation

6 hours/day (30 hours/week)
Remote — work from home
Salary: $1,000 - $1,400/month depending on experience
Paid via Wise or Payoneer
Long-term position

Which DTC/ecommerce brands have you worked with? Describe your role and what you were responsible for.
