Shopify Manager (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Manager to oversee, optimize, and scale one or more Shopify stores. This role requires deep hands-on expertise with Shopify operations, theme management, apps, product workflows, conversion optimization, and day-to-day store performance. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, strong UX, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain Shopify stores end-to-end
• Upload, optimize, and manage product listings (titles, descriptions, variants, images, SEO)
• Configure and manage Shopify themes (Liquid familiarity preferred)
• Install, configure, and optimize Shopify apps
• Monitor store performance, conversion rates, and user behavior
• Coordinate promotions, discounts, collections, and product launches
• Ensure accurate inventory, pricing, and fulfillment workflows
• Troubleshoot store issues, bugs, and checkout problems
• Implement CRO best practices to increase AOV and conversion
• Coordinate with designers, marketers, and operations as needed
• Ensure store compliance, speed optimization, and mobile responsiveness

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of proven Shopify management experience
• Strong understanding of Shopify backend, themes, and app ecosystem
• Experience managing medium to high-volume stores
• Solid knowledge of eCommerce best practices and UX/CRO
• Experience with product sourcing, variants, and catalog organization
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred (Nice to Have)
• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Familiarity with Liquid, HTML, CSS (basic to intermediate)
• Experience integrating third-party tools (email, analytics, fulfillment)
• Understanding of paid ads workflows (Meta, Google)
• Experience with Amazon, omnichannel selling, or ERP integrations
