Role Title
Internal Marketing & Content Manager
Role Purpose
This role exists to own and execute the marketing output of Leading Social and owner’s personal brand across social media, content, and visual assets.
The focus is not volume or vanity posting. The focus is building clear, consistent, high-quality assets that support credibility, lead generation, hiring, partnerships, and long-term brand value.
This person sits at the centre of how Leading Social shows up publicly and is responsible for turning what’s happening inside the business into high-performing external content.
#Core Responsibilities
Static Content Creation
Create high-quality static images suitable for Instagram,
Maintain a consistent visual standard across all platforms
Work with the team to identify new client onboardings, case studies, strong results, and internal milestones
Turn these into clear, professional promotional assets for social
Follow and evolve the Leading Social visual style rather than reinventing it
YouTube Support
Manage YouTube scheduling and publishing
Own YouTube thumbnail creation including strong visual concepts, clear hooks, and consistent style
Use performance data such as CTR and views to evaluate thumbnails
Bring new ideas and testing concepts to improve performance over time
Short-Form Video and Reels
Identify strong clips from YouTube videos, podcasts, and internal recordings
Edit or prepare clips suitable for Reels and short-form platforms
Post short-form content consistently across Leading Social channels
Internal Collaboration and Opportunity Spotting
Actively use Slack to monitor team updates
Identify opportunities for content based on client wins, results, interesting conversations, and internal frameworks
Proactively turn internal activity into external-facing content without needing to be prompted
LinkedIn Management
Manage Leading Social’s LinkedIn presence
Write and publish daily LinkedIn posts for owner in his tone of voice
Focus on awareness, authority, perspective, and business insight
Ensure content feels natural, credible, and aligned with how owner communicates
Scheduling and Publishing
Schedule content across all relevant platforms
Maintain a clear and organised content calendar
Ensure consistency of posting without gaps or last-minute scrambling
Coordinate timing around launches, announcements, videos, and events
What This Role Is Not
Not a junior scheduling role
Not a trend-chasing role
Not a purely reactive position
Not a design-only role with no strategic input
This is an ownership role with responsibility for output quality and brand perception.
Success Looks Like
Leading Social has a consistent, professional presence across social platforms
Owner’s LinkedIn content is active, intentional, and growing in reach
YouTube thumbnails improve CTR and overall channel performance
Internal wins and insights are surfaced externally quickly and clearly
Skills Needed
- Strong written communication in Leighton’s tone of voice
- Visual design skills for static assets and YouTube thumbnails
- Understanding of LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube performance
- Good content judgement and brand awareness
- Strong organisation, planning, and scheduling ability
- Basic performance and data analysis skills
- Proactive, ownership-driven mindset
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
