Contract Furniture Specifier & Designer (CET Designer / CAP 2020)

About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Furniture Specifier/Dealer Designer to assist with commercial furniture projects. You must have specific experience using CET Designer (Configura) or CAP 2020 to create technical specifications, space plans, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Create precise 2D/3D furniture layouts and space plans.

Generate accurate parts lists, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and pricing using CET Designer or CAP 2020.

Produce installation drawings and render packages for client presentations.

Audit specifications to ensure all hardware, finishes, and connectors are correct and error-free.

Export SIF files for ordering.

Requirements:

Must have: Proven experience with CET Designer (extensions like Steelcase, Herman Miller, Haworth, etc.) or CAP 2020.

Strong knowledge of commercial/systems furniture (cubicles, panel systems, desking).

Ability to read and interpret architectural floor plans and CAD drawings.

Strong attention to detail to minimize ordering errors.
