We’re looking for an experienced WordPress web developer to help us improve Core Web Vitals performance and redesign an existing website currently built with Divi.
The primary goal is to significantly improve PageSpeed Insights, Core Web Vitals scores (LCP, INP, CLS), and overall UX—while maintaining or improving design quality. We are open to recommendations on whether Divi should be optimised or replaced with a better-performing builder or setup.
????? Responsibilities
Diagnose and fix Core Web Vitals issues (mobile & desktop)
Improve site speed, performance, and UX
Optimise:
LCP, INP, CLS
CSS, JS, fonts, images, and third-party scripts
Redesign the website
Advise on better-performing builders or setups (e.g., Gutenberg, custom theme, other lightweight builders)
Ensure the site remains SEO-friendly and conversion-focused
Implement best practices for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
? Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress
Proven experience fixing Core Web Vitals
Hands-on experience with Divi (optimization or migration)
Solid understanding of:
PageSpeed Insights
Lighthouse
Web performance optimization
Ability to explain technical decisions clearly
Portfolio or examples of before/after performance improvements

Experience migrating from Divi to a faster setup
Knowledge of:
Gutenberg/block-based builds
Custom themes
Performance-first stacks
Basic SEO knowledge
