JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Technical Fashion Illustrator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be the bridge between initial design concepts and final marketing imagery. You will transform technical CAD files and outline plans into hyper-realistic, e-commerce-optimized flatlay product images. This is a highly collaborative position, working directly with our design team to iterate and perfect visual assets that accurately represent our final products before they are physically produced. You will be working during US hours and receive weekly payment.

(Please send over your samples or portfolio, if you have one, and an updated copy of your CV)

Key Responsibilities:

- Translate 2D CAD files, tech packs, and outline specifications into photorealistic 3D garment models and flatlay images.

- Utilize 3D design software (e.g., CLO 3D, Browzwear V-Stitcher, Blender) to create accurate simulations of fabric drape, texture, stitching, and trim details.

- Collaborate iteratively with the internal design team, incorporating feedback on trimmings, patterns, proportions, silhouettes, and overall shape.

- Refine 3D models and renders to ensure they are a true-to-life representation of the intended final product design.

- Produce a high volume of clean, consistent, and visually compelling flatlay-style images optimized for e-commerce platforms.

- Maintain organized files and version control for all 3D assets and renders.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Proven experience in 3D apparel design, technical fashion illustration, or digital product development.

- High proficiency in industry-standard 3D garment software such as CLO 3D, Browzwear (V-Stitcher), or Blender.

- Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, patternmaking, and fit.

- Exceptional eye for detail with the ability to accurately visualize and execute design refinements.

- Experience working in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment directly with design teams.

- A portfolio showcasing high-quality, realistic flatlay or 3D rendered images of apparel from technical drawings.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines.

Bonus Points (Preferred):

- Experience in the fast-fashion or activewear sectors.

- Knowledge of rendering for different e-commerce contexts (mannequin, flatlay, on-figure).

- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
