Role Overview

We’re looking for our first People Operations & Culture Lead—someone who can help keep our team happy, organized, and working well together. This role is all about balancing people and processes: making sure our HR systems run smoothly, our culture stays strong, and our team feels supported.

Key Responsibilities

Handle HR basics: manage time off, attendance, WFH/office schedules, and keep everyone aligned with expectations.

Build simple, clear HR processes: define guidelines for WFH, office days, and other people-related policies.

Support team culture: plan team-building activities, coordinate events, and help keep our team connected.

Coach and support people: promote clear communication, gather feedback, and help resolve conflicts when they arise.

Help with hiring and onboarding: assist in sourcing applicants, organizing interviews and tests, and making sure new hires get set up for success.

This is a key role in shaping our people practices and company culture. You will be responsible for ensuring HR processes run smoothly, communication stays clear, and the team remains engaged and supported. Your work will directly impact how effectively our teams operate and collaborate, setting the standard for a positive and productive work environment.

Ideal Candidate
Experience: ?2 years in HR, people operations, or related roles; experience in logistics or remote teams is a plus (preferred, not required)
Language: Native-level English — able to communicate clearly, coach others, and document HR policies, procedures, and feedback
Process Management & Accuracy: Creates and maintains clear HR processes and SOPs; ensures HR operations like time off, attendance, and onboarding are handled accurately and consistently
People & Culture Management: Builds team engagement, resolves conflicts fairly, and promotes alignment with company values; organizes team events and supports overall culture initiatives
Recruitment & Onboarding: Able to manage hiring processes including sourcing candidates, administering assessments, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new team members effectively
Pressure Management: Maintains composure and ensures HR operations and team support continue smoothly under changing priorities
Technical Tools: Proficient in Slack, email, HR management tools, LMS platforms, and other operational systems as needed
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with Pacific Time hours
