About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Backlink Outreach Specialist to manage link acquisition across a growing portfolio of local service and ecommerce clients. You'll be the driving force behind securing 50-70 high-quality backlinks per month across multiple accounts simultaneously, using a diversified strategy that includes direct outreach, partnerships, guest posting, niche edits, broken link building, and HARO/PR pitching.
You'll work directly alongside our Head of SEO and our Founder to develop and execute link-building strategies that move the needle for our clients. This is a remote position perfect for someone who's mastered the art of relationship-building in the SEO space and can manage multiple concurrent campaigns without losing quality or attention to detail.

What You'll Do
Core Responsibilities:
Manage backlink acquisition across 15+ active client accounts simultaneously, targeting 50-70 monthly links across all accounts
Conduct thorough link vetting using your own established criteria, ensuring every placement aligns with client goals and maintains quality standards
Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns including direct cold outreach, partnership development, guest posting placements, and niche edits
Identify and pursue broken link building opportunities on high-authority domains
Leverage HARO (Help A Reporter Out) and PR pitching to generate editorial backlinks
Explore Reddit opportunities for authentic link placement and brand mentions where appropriate
Write compelling outreach emails and guest post pitches that convert
Maintain detailed records of all link placements with specific metrics: exact placement location, anchor text, DA/DR, estimated costs, and performance tracking
Provide quarterly portfolio reports showing all links acquired with full transparency on methodology and cost per link
Collaborate with our Semrush account to identify link opportunities and track competitor link strategies

What We're Looking For
Required Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on backlink acquisition experience
Proven track record building links for both local home service businesses AND ecommerce brands
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously without quality degradation
Strong understanding of link quality metrics (DA, DR, relevance, anchor text diversity, etc.) with your own established vetting process
Experience with guest posting, niche edits, broken link building, HARO/PR pitching, and direct outreach methods
Ability to write compelling, client-ready outreach emails and guest post pitches
Comfortable with data tracking and providing detailed reporting on costs per link and placement sources
Basic familiarity with Semrush (we provide access)
Bonus: Experience with Reddit for authentic community engagement and link placement

Compensation: $1,000/month
Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours - 9am - 5pm EST)
Start Date: Immediate or flexible based on availability
