JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a hands?on n8n workflow engineer to help us polish, stabilize, and improve existing automation workflows, and build new ones based on clear outcome goals.

Our workflows primarily support:
- image generation
- video generation
- multi?step AI pipelines
- QA / retry logic
- async execution and failure handling

Experience with AI media workflows (images, video, prompts, generation APIs) is much more important than generic n8n experience.

What You’ll Do
- Review existing n8n workflows and:
- simplify logic
- reduce unnecessary nodes
- improve execution speed
- improve reliability and error handling
Refactor workflows for:
- better structure
- clearer state transitions
-easier debugging

Create new workflows based on:
- written instructions
- desired outcomes (not step?by?step specs)

- Improve prompt handling and prompt testing inside workflows
- Add guardrails, retries, and failure?safe paths
- Work with image and video generation APIs
- Document changes clearly so workflows are maintainable

What We’re Looking For, Required:
- Strong hands?on experience with n8n
- Experience designing complex, multi?step workflows
- Comfort debugging async / flaky API behavior
- Clear thinking about state, retries, and failure modes
- Strong written communication (async?first)

Strongly Preferred
- Experience with image or video generation pipelines
- Experience working with AI prompts inside workflows
- Familiarity with performance bottlenecks in automation tools
- Experience cleaning up other people’s messy automations

Not required
- UI design
- frontend work
- ML research
- “automation consultant” fluff

When you message us, please include:
- A short description of the most complex n8n workflow you’ve worked on
- One example of a workflow you refactored or stabilized
- Your availability (hours/week)
- Your timezone

Bonus (Optional but Strong Signal)
If you want to stand out, briefly answer:
- What usually causes n8n workflows to become slow or unstable over time?
- What’s your approach to making AI?driven workflows reliable?
