We’re hiring a Direct Response Web Designer who can think, design, and execute—not just generate assets.

What This Role Is (Very Clearly)

This role is for a designer who:
- Can design full landing pages and layouts, not just images
- Understands why a layout, image, or section exists
- Uses AI as a tool, not a crutch
- Can judge good vs bad images, videos, and layouts without being told

If you rely on AI outputs without validating quality, relevance, and brand fit — this role is not for you.

What You’ll Do
- Design conversion-focused landing pages and Shopify pages (not just visuals)
- Create clean, mobile-first layouts with strong hierarchy and flow
- Select and curate the right images/videos that match:
- the product
- the copy
- the intent of the page
- Validate assets before delivery (no wrong products, no mismatched visuals)
- Turn briefs into complete, usable page layouts
- Iterate fast based on feedback and performance needs

What We Expect From You

You:
- Can design an entire landing page from hero to CTA
- Understand direct response fundamentals (clarity, proof, flow, CTA)
- Know when an image hurts conversion instead of helping
- Do not blindly trust AI-generated visuals
- Can explain why you chose a layout or image
- Deliver work that does not require constant fixing

AI Usage (Important)

AI is allowed.
AI dependence is not.

You must:
- Edit, validate, and curate AI outputs
- Ensure visuals match the product and copy
- Reject bad AI results instead of passing them through
- If your output “looks AI-generated” and unrefined, it will be rejected.

Required Skills
- Figma (required)
- Strong layout & UX judgment
- Shopify page design experience
- Mobile-first design thinking

Nice to have
- Replo, Framer, Webflow
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding
