We’re looking for someone who specialises in:
UGC-style ads
Reels / short-form video
Meta ad creatives that stop the scroll and convert
If you understand hooks, pacing, retention, captions, and CTAs, this role is for you.
The Role (In Plain English)
You’ll be responsible for turning ideas and raw footage into high-performing ad creatives.
That includes:
Editing short-form videos for
Creating UGC-style ads that feel native, not polished
Producing Reels-style content optimised for attention and retention
Supporting creative testing at volume
You will not be running ads or managing campaigns — your focus is creative execution.
Core Responsibilities
UGC, Reels & Ad Editing
Edit short-form videos (10–45 seconds) for Meta Ads and Reels
Create UGC-style ads using:
Raw phone footage
Talking-head clips
B-roll, screen recordings, and stock where needed
Apply strong:
Hooks in the first 1–3 seconds
Clear pacing and structure
On-screen captions and emphasis
Strong CTAs aligned to the brief
Repurpose long or raw footage into multiple ad variations
Deliver creatives optimised for scroll-stopping performance, not aesthetics
AI & Creative Tools (Important)
We’re especially interested in editors who are comfortable with:
AI-assisted video tools (avatars, voiceovers, B-roll, subtitles)
Using AI to speed up:
Hook testing
Variations
Captioning
Script adaptation
You don’t need to be an AI expert — but you should be comfortable experimenting and learning.
Tools You Should Be Comfortable With
CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar
Canva (for fast variations)
Subtitles / caption tools
AI tools for:
Video generation
Voiceovers
Avatars or B-roll (where appropriate)
Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Proven experience editing UGC-style ads or short-form content
Understanding of ad-first editing (hooks, retention, CTA)
Experience creating content for:
Facebook
Instagram Reels
Ability to follow creative briefs and iterate quickly
Fast turnaround and good communication
If your background is mostly cinematic, corporate, or long-form editing, this role will not be a fit.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience editing ads for gyms, fitness, or local service businesses
Familiarity with Meta ad specs and formats
Experience creating multiple variations from one concept
Interest in AI-generated creatives or avatars
What Success Looks Like
You can turn one idea into 5–10 ad variations
Creatives are delivered on time and aligned to performance goals
You iterate quickly based on feedback
You understand that imperfect but native beats polished but boring
