Social Media Manager (Part-Time, Remote)

Instagram & TikTok | Social Impact Travel Company

We’re a social impact–driven travel company working at the intersection of responsible tourism, humanitarian storytelling, and global communities. We’re looking for a reliable, independent Social Media Manager to help us build consistent, engaging content on Instagram and TikTok.

This is not a purely visual design role. It’s an execution-focused position for someone who can manage content consistently without constant supervision.

The Basics

Pay: $5/hour

Hours: Starting at 10 hours/week

Platforms: Instagram & TikTok (potentially FB)

Location: Remote

Growth: Hours and responsibilities can increase over time

Long-term: We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us

What You’ll Be Doing

Posting daily content on Instagram and TikTok (scheduled in advance)

Editing short-form videos (Reels / TikToks) using CapCut

Designing posts using Canva when needed

Turning provided content into engaging visuals and videos

Occasionally taking creative freedom to follow trends, especially on TikTok

Managing posting independently without us needing to follow up

Communicating clearly and proactively (WhatsApp)

What We’re Looking For

Strong short-form video editing skills (beyond basic templates)

Good sense of pacing, transitions, fonts, and engagement

Highly organized and consistent

Comfortable working independently

Curious and willing to learn about social impact, ethics, and context

Professional, reliable, and open to feedback

Able to manage your time and responsibilities without micromanagement

What This Is NOT

Not a purely aesthetic or visual design role

Not suitable for people who need constant supervision

Not a strategy-heavy role (at least at the start)

Bonus (Not Required, But Nice to Have)

Interest in travel, social impact, or storytelling

Desire to grow into a bigger role over time

If things go well, there might be travel opportunities for you
