We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to support Australian residential, commercial and property lending transactions. The role focuses on analysing client financial information, preparing lender-ready credit submissions, and managing deal progression with Australian banks and non-bank lenders.
This role suits someone with hands-on experience in Australian credit assessment who is comfortable working independently within established processes and engaging directly with lender credit teams.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Analysis & Assessment
- Analyse Australian client financial information, including:
- Company and trust financial statements
- Personal and business tax returns
- BAS and bank statements
- Cash flow and serviceability calculations
- Assess deal viability against Australian lender policies
- Identify risks, mitigants, and structuring considerations
Credit Submissions & Deal Documentation
- Prepare high-quality credit memos for Australian banks and non-bank lenders
- Draft internal deal summaries and lending “game plans” outlining:
- Recommended lender options
- Proposed structure and loan terms
Key risks and mitigants
- Ensure all submissions are accurate, complete, and compliant with Australian lending standards
Lender Liaison & Deal Progression
- Submit applications to Australian lenders
- Act as a point of contact for lender credit teams
- Respond to credit questions, conditions, and information requests
- Track deal progress through approval
Process & Quality Control
- Follow documented SOPs and submission standards
- Maintain consistent documentation quality across all deals
- Flag issues early and escalate where required
Essential Experience & Skills
-Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Australian credit or lending roles, including:
-Bank or non-bank credit analyst
Strong working knowledge of:
-Australian lender landscape
-Business and commercial property finance
-Company, trust, and SMSF structures
We'd like:-
Proven experience preparing Australian lender credit submissions
Excellent written English skills (credit memo standard)
High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience working remotely with Australian brokerages or banks
- Familiarity with Australian compliance expectations (NCCP, responsible lending concepts)
- Experience across both bank and non-bank lending
