Overview
Therapy Tree is hiring Manual Data Extraction Specialists to support a short-term operational surge during an EMR transition.
This role is not analytical, strategic, or creative.
It is a focused, execution-heavy role responsible for manually reviewing patient records across systems and accurately organizing data so clinical and scheduling teams can act quickly.
If you are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable with repetitive work, this role is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do
• Manually review patient records in AdvancedMD and legacy systems
• Cross-check schedules, visit history, and frequency information
• Enter and tag data into standardized spreadsheets
• Categorize patients into predefined buckets (e.g., active, under-frequency, lost, eval completed/no therapy)
• Flag inconsistencies or missing information for review
• Follow clear, step-by-step instructions exactly as written
Accuracy and consistency matter more than speed at first. Speed follows accuracy.

• Make scheduling decisions
• Contact families
• Analyze trends or optimize processes
• Build reports, dashboards, or automations
• Redesign workflows

Ideal Candidate Profile
• Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy work for multiple hours per day
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to follow written instructions precisely
• Reliable and consistent
• Comfortable working independently once trained
• Prior healthcare, EMR, or data entry experience is a plus (not required)
Required Skills
• Strong reading comprehension
• Spreadsheet comfort (Google Sheets or Excel)
• Ability to stay focused on structured tasks
• Willingness to flag uncertainty instead of guessing

• EMR/EHR exposure (AdvancedMD, Raintree, or similar)
• Healthcare admin or records experience
