Our team of 3 lawyers and a surgeon deals with medicolegal civil and administrative litigation files
Key Responsibilities
-Transcription of dictations and legal files using transcription software; correcting grammar, punctuation, and formatting
- Editing and combining documents in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Adobe PDF
- Organizing and summarizing
- Assisting with document proofreading and completion
-Coordinating task assignments and ensuring proper communication between staff
-Other Misc Admin Tasks.
Required Skills
- Excellent organization and time management
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear written and oral communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Google Docs/Sheets, and Adobe PDF
- Ability to edit, format, and combine documents accurately
- some medical background is helpful but not required.
- Legal education or experience is helpful but not required.
Hours of Work
Full time (Monday–Friday, 8 hours/day)
Compensation
Competitive rate, commensurate with skills and experience
