Overview:
NexWave is a Philippines-based startup and sister company of Hometown Roofing & Restoration, one of the fastest-growing roofing and restoration companies in Texas, USA. We are seeking a highly experienced Insurance Claims Estimator / Project Coordinator with direct experience handling U.S. residential property insurance claims.
This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in insurance adjusting, claims management, and estimating for U.S. residential losses, specifically roofing and exterior storm damage.
In this role, you will work closely with Hometown Roofing & Restoration’s estimating team—led by a retired U.S. insurance adjuster—and alongside a group of retired U.S. insurance adjusters who are top-tier experts in the industry. You will be exposed to advanced estimating strategies, claim documentation standards, and insurer negotiation practices, while leveraging AI tools to improve speed, accuracy, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
Review, manage, and coordinate U.S. residential property insurance claims, primarily roofing and storm-related losses
Prepare accurate, insurance-compliant estimates using Xactimate
Utilize Symbility for estimating and file review (experience is a strong plus)
Collaborate directly with retired U.S. insurance adjusters to ensure estimates meet carrier standards
Communicate professionally and confidently in excellent English with U.S. insurance adjusters, homeowners, and internal teams
Conduct outbound and inbound calls,
Assist with claim documentation, scope validation, supplements, and file organization
Leverage AI tools to improve estimating efficiency, reporting accuracy, and client communications
Track claim progress, maintain detailed files, and ensure deadlines are met
Provide clear updates and reporting to management and U.S.-based teams
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field
(Master’s degree preferred)
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) — required
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with U.S. residential insurance claims
Direct experience in insurance adjusting, claims handling, or claims estimating
Strong proficiency in Xactimate (required)
Symbility experience is a strong advantage
Solid understanding of U.S. insurance claim workflows, documentation, and carrier expectations
Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple claims and projects simultaneously
