Job Description:
We are a U.S. financial services company seeking an experienced Credit Repair Specialist to assist our clients with improving their credit profiles using U.S. credit laws and compliance-based dispute methods.
This is not a script-reading or basic letter-sending role. We are looking for someone who understands how to analyze U.S. credit reports and strategically challenge inaccurate, unfair, or unverified items.
You will be working with real U.S. clients who need help removing or correcting items such as collections, repossessions, charge-offs, and CFPB-related loan and collection accounts.
Responsibilities:
Review U.S. credit reports (Experian, Equifax, TransUnion)
Identify inaccurate, unverifiable, or outdated negative items
Create dispute strategies using U.S. credit laws
Draft and submit disputes and follow-ups
Track account status changes (deleted, updated, closed, verified, etc.)
Work with our U.S. team to resolve client cases
Must Have Knowledge Of:
Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
Credit reporting timelines and reinvestigation rules
How to challenge:
Collections
Repos
Charge-offs
Late payments
Loan collections (including CFPB-related issues)
Requirements:
Experience working with U.S. credit reports
Ability to explain why an item can be disputed or challenged
Familiarity with Metro 2 reporting
Strong written English
Reliable internet and computer
