Shopify Developer

Brainstorm Solutions is a digital marketing agency with clients across the U.S. We offer full-service solutions from web development and strategy to branding, design, copywriting, SEO, email marketing, PPC, display advertising and social media management. Our clients range from major global brands to small local businesses.

We’re looking for a Shopify Developer to join our team! ?

This is a part-time position:
- Collaboration can be structured as either a monthly retainer or per-project
- Availability during at least part of our core team hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM EST) is a strong plus

Responsibilities:
- Implement pixel-perfect frontend from Figma files, ensuring visual accuracy and consistency
- Build complete Shopify websites from scratch on the backend, including custom functionality and logic
- Maintain and manage Shopify stores on an ongoing basis
- Integrate third-party tools and services (Meta, Google, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.)
- Communicate task progress via Trello and collaborate with the team through WhatsApp and Zoom
- Ensure precise and timely delivery of assigned tasks
- Follow internal processes while remaining flexible and solution-oriented
- Availability to join Zoo ---------- etings with clients when needed, in coordination with the internal team

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a custom Shopify developer, with the ability to build fully custom themes from scratch
- Strong, hands-on experience with Liquid (a must)
- Solid understanding of Shopify theme architecture, including sections, templates, snippets, and asset structure
- Ability to read, understand, and improve existing Shopify code written by other developers
- Experience with Shopify API
- Excellent task organization and attention to detail
- Experience using task management tools like Trello
- Comfortable working independently while staying in sync with our team
- Professional attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and respect for deadlines
- English proficiency at C2 level

Nice to have:
- Understanding of UI/UX principles
- Familiarity with tools like Git, Figma, or other collaboration platforms
- Previous experience with U.S.-based clients or projects
