About the Role

We are a fast-growing UK property group operating across four UK-based businesses, all of which you will be responsible for from a finance and accounting perspective:

Airbnb Management Business
Airbnb Rental Arbitrage Business
Property Sourcing Business
Property Education / Training Business

All businesses are VAT registered and scaling quickly.

We are hiring a Finance Operations Lead to take end-to-end ownership of day-to-day financial operations across the group. This is a senior, hands-on role — not a VA or junior bookkeeping position.

You will work closely with all Directors and will have ongoing support from an experienced UK-based external accountant, who acts as a consultant for reviews, queries, and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Full bookkeeping across four UK-based businesses
Maintaining accounts weekly with no backlogs
Bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Trust accounting and separation of client vs operational funds
Preparation and submission of UK VAT returns
Preparing year-end accounts for Corporation Tax (filed externally)
Running payroll and managing staff leave records
Daily use of Xero and related finance systems
Clear communication with Directors and UK accountants

Requirements (Please read carefully)

Essential
5+ years accounting experience
Strong, hands-on Xero experience
Proven experience working with UK-based businesses
Direct experience preparing UK VAT returns
Experience handling multiple entitie
Comfortable working UK hours and operating independently
Nice to Have

CPA (Philippines) or accounting degree
Experience in property, Airbnb, serviced accommodation, or client-money businesses
Background with UK accountancy or outsourcing firms
Working Hours

Monday–Friday

10:00am – 6:00pm UK time
(6:00pm – 2:00am Philippines time)

Salary review after 6 months based on performance
This is a long-term, stable position.
We are not looking for freelancers managing multiple clients.
