Expert Oxygen & Elementor WordPress Developer for Marketing Agency

We are a fast-growing marketing agency in the US that helps home service contractors like plumbers, HVAC, roofers, Fence & Deck companies get more leads. Our core business is lead generation, and our websites are our primary tool. We don't just build websites; we build high-converting & fast-loading performance marketing assets that are critical to our clients' success.

We are looking for a true WordPress expert who is obsessed with speed, performance, and clean code. This is not a junior developer role. We need someone who can take a Figma design and turn it into a pixel-perfect, lightning-fast website that scores 90+ on Google PageSpeed Insights on mobile and desktop.

The Role:

As our lead WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our client websites. You will work closely with our designer and CEO to bring our web projects to life. Your primary focus will be on front-end development, performance optimization, and ensuring our sites are technically sound for On-page SEO.

You must be a master of Oxygen Builder and Elementor. If you are not an expert in both, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop custom, responsive WordPress websites from Figma designs using Oxygen Builder and Elementor.

• Optimize websites for speed and performance to achieve Google PageSpeed scores of 90+.

• Implement and configure plugins for SEO (Rank Math, Yoast), caching (WP Rocket/Nitropack), and other functionalities.

• Ensure all websites are built with clean, maintainable code and follow best practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

• Conduct website maintenance, updates, and security checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.

• Expert-level proficiency in Oxygen Builder and Elementor. You must be able to build complex layouts and custom functionality with both.

• Proven track record of optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals. You must be able to demonstrate your ability to achieve 90+ PageSpeed scores.

• Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Experience with SEO best practices, image optimization, schema markup, and site speed optimization.

• Familiarity with common hosting environments (e.g., SiteGround, Cloudways) and cPanel.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
