Interior Designer – 2 Bed / 2 Bath Home (Project-Based)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a creative interior designer to design our 1,123 sq ft, 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom home for a married couple. The goal is a modern, luxury look and feel while remaining budget-friendly as they save toward a future home purchase.

This is a design-only role. You will create the visual design, layouts, and a clear shopping list so we can purchase items ourselves (primarily from Amazon, but open to other necessary pieces).

Spaces include:
- Living room/dining area
- Kitchen
- Primary bedroom
- Creative studio/office (second bedroom)
- Bathrooms
- Hallway
- Balcony & Patio

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Create a design concept and mood direction
2. Design each room with realistic layouts based on actual dimensions
3. Provide 3D visuals/renders for each room
4. Recommend lighting, curtains, and smart-home–ready ideas
5. Deliver a clear itemized shopping list (Amazon preferred; others OK for key items)
6. Stay within a defined budget
7. Revise designs based on feedback (reasonable revisions)

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience designing small to medium residential spaces
- Strong eye for modern, clean, adult interiors
- Ability to produce 3D visuals (SketchUp, Blender, or similar)
- Comfortable sourcing furniture and decor online
- Portfolio required (residential work preferred)

PAYMENT - Project-based
- Budget range: $400–$700 USD total. Payment will be sent in milestones based on agreed deliverables.
