About the Role
We are a US based insurance restoration company looking for an experienced remote Xactimate estimator to support our operations team. This is a long term role for someone who understands insurance restoration estimating and can work independently using photos, scope notes, sketches, and 3D documentation.
This is not a data entry position. You must understand how and why estimates are written for insurance carriers.

Primary Responsibilities
• Write Xactimate estimates for repairs based on photos, videos, scope notes, sketches, and 3D scans
• Prepare and revise supplements based on adjuster feedback
• Write mitigation estimates including dry out related line items
• Write packout and contents related estimates when applicable
• Review documentation to identify missing scope items
• Organize and upload estimates according to internal standards
• Follow carrier compliant estimating practices

Required Experience (Please do not apply if you do not meet these)
• Minimum 2 years experience using Xactimate
• Experience writing insurance restoration repair estimates
• Experience preparing supplements
• Understanding of mitigation vs repair scope separation
• Ability to read photos and build scope without hand holding
• Familiarity with common insurance carrier expectations

Strongly Preferred
• Experience working with US insurance carriers
• Restoration industry background
• Experience with mitigation and packout estimating
• Experience using DocuSketch and or Matterport
• Previous remote estimator or desk adjuster experience
