Position Summary
We are looking for a highly organized virtual assistant with hands-on TikTok Shop and Shopify ecommerce experience. This is not a developer, influencer, or paid ads role. Instead, this person should be a hybrid ecommerce operations and platform setup specialist who understands how TikTok Shop integrates with Shopify and can keep everything accurate, compliant, and running smoothly day-to-day.
This role is focused on setting up, managing, and maintaining TikTok Shop, ensuring proper product syncing, order flow, fulfillment accuracy, and platform compliance — while coordinating with internal teams to execute tasks efficiently.
MUST WORK USA HOURS SOMETIME BETWEEN 7AM–7PM MOUNTAIN TIME (USA)
Core Responsibilities
1. TikTok Shop Setup & Operations (PRIMARY FOCUS)
-TikTok Shop Integration
-Set up and maintain TikTok Shop linked to our Shopify store
-Ensure correct product syncing, pricing, inventory, and variants
-Verify proper tax, shipping, and fulfillment configurations
-Product & Catalog Management
-Create, edit, and maintain TikTok Shop product listings
-Ensure product titles, images, descriptions, and compliance requirements meet TikTok standards
-Manage bundles, variants, and SKU mapping between TikTok Shop and Shopify
-Order & Fulfillment Oversight
-Monitor TikTok Shop orders and ensure correct routing to Shopify/fulfillment
-Troubleshoot order sync issues, cancellations, returns, or failed fulfillment
-Maintain clean order data and communicate issues proactively
-Platform Compliance & Accuracy
-Monitor TikTok Shop policy requirements and listing approvals
-Flag restricted products, missing documentation, or compliance risks
-Keep listings live, accurate, and error-free
2. Shopify & Ecommerce Support (MUST KNOW SHOPIFY BACKEND)
-Shopify Product Management
-Update product pages, pricing, SKUs, images, and descriptions
-Maintain clean product structures and collections
-Ensure Shopify data aligns perfectly with TikTok Shop listings
-Catalog Organization
-Maintain clean variant logic and inventory tracking
-Support accurate inventory syncing between platforms
-Store Maintenance
-Upload images, tag products, fix listing errors
-Assist with app connections related to TikTok Shop
3. Administrative & Operations Support
-Task & To-Do Management
-Create, track, and execute task lists
-Proactively follow up with tea
-Keep projects moving forward without constant oversight
-Cross-Team Coordination
-Communicate with internal teams, fulfillment partners, and contractors
-Ensure setup steps, approvals, and fixes are completed on time
-Documentation & Tracking
-Maintain SOPs, setup checklists, and trackers
-Track product status, approvals, and sync health
4. Software & Workflow Mastery
-Google Workspace
-Create and manage trackers in Google Sheets
-Organize Drive folders and documentation
-Schedule meetings and maintain shared resources
-Slack
-Keep communication organized and efficient
-Provide clear updates and summaries
-Other Tools
-Comfortable learning TikTok Seller Center tools and ecommerce apps
-Able to adopt new SaaS platforms quickly
