About Car Aid Auto Group
Car Aid Auto Group is a fast-growing, family-owned auto repair company with multiple locations across Metro Detroit. We’re known for exceptional customer service, strong community presence, and building a brand people actually enjoy interacting with. We’re hiring a full-time Social Media & Content Manager to own our content execution, engagement, and brand growth across all platforms. You’ll work closely with leadership on strategy and approvals, then fully own execution once content is approved.
About the Role
This role manages Car Aid’s digital content presence end-to-end. You’ll turn raw photos and videos captured in-shop into polished, high-performing content. You’ll plan ahead, manage daily engagement, track performance, and proactively bring ideas to the table.
Content is reviewed weekly with leadership. Once approved, you own execution, scheduling, and follow-through.
This role also supports our broader digital growth efforts by aligning content with SEO, Google Ads, and Local Service Ads, ensuring everything works together to drive real leads. Not just likes.
Key Responsibilities
•Content & Social Media
•Build and maintain a 30–60 day content calendar
•Edit short-form video (Reels, Shorts, TikTok) and photos
•Write captions, hooks, CTAs, and blog posts
•Publish approved content across all platforms
•Maintain an organized Google Drive of all content for review and reuse
•Manage comments, DMs, and community engagement
•Monitor trends and recommend content ideas and improvements
•Track performance and report insights weekly and monthly
Content Pipeline Ownership
•Request, follow up on, and organize photos and videos from shop managers
•Ensure content is consistent, on-brand, and delivered on schedule
Paid & Organic Growth Support
•Support Google Ads, Local Service Ads (LSA), and SEO initiatives in collaboration with leadership
•Help align social content, blogs, Google Business updates, and landing page messaging with active campaigns
•Monitor basic performance metrics and flag trends or issues
•Identify content and keyword opportunities that support lead generation and local search visibility

Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
•Has grown at least one brand or business account (not just maintained it)
•Can provide examples of content created and measurable growth
•Understands engagement vs. reach vs. follower growth
•Can clearly explain why content was posted and how it performed
•Strong photo and video editing skills
•Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with approvals
•Working knowledge of Google Ads, SEO, and Local Service Ads, and how content supports lead generation
•Comfortable reviewing metrics and communicating insights clearly
Preferred (But Not Required)
•Hands-on experience managing or supporting Google Ads or Local Service Ads
•Experience optimizing content for local SEO and Google Business Profiles
•Familiarity with conversion tracking, call tracking, or CRM-connected marketing tools
Availability & Expectations
Full-time, remote
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Responsive during business hours
Able to flag urgent reputation-related issues after hours when needed
