Dental Insurance Verification Specialist

We are a U.S.-based dental billing company seeking a full-time, experienced Insurance Verification Specialist to join our remote team. This role is essential to ensuring accurate insurance benefits and smooth workflows for our dental offices.

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM EST
(Strict schedule — availability during these hours is required)

Compensation

$800 USD per month
Paid twice monthly

**Experience Requirements: (Applicants with no dental experience will not be considered)

Minimum of 2 years of dental insurance verification experience

Must be familiar with Open Dental and Dentrix

Strong understanding of U.S. dental insurance plans and benefit structures

**Key Responsibilities:

Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits using insurance portals and phone calls

Review and document:

Coverage percentages

Deductibles and annual maximums

Waiting periods and frequency limitations

Exclusions, downgrades, and alternate benefits

Accurately enter verification details into systems and trackers

Communicate findings clearly with the billing and office teams

Maintain organized documentation and meet daily verification volume expectations

**Daily Workload:

Moderate volume of insurance verifications

**Skills & Requirements:

Advanced English proficiency (written and reading)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Reliable and stable internet connection

Dual monitor setup preferred

Ability to work independently while following established processes

Comfortable using Email and Slack for daily communication
