YouTube Video Editor (Project-Based, Long-Term)
Remote – Philippines Preferred

Pay: $15–$25 per edited video (non-negotiable)
Workload: 1–2 videos/week to start (will increase for the right person)

REViVE Amazon Partners is a U.S.-based Amazon growth agency helping better-for-you CPG brands scale to 7- and 8-figures. We create educational, thought-leadership video content for YouTube and LinkedIn that directly supports client acquisition.

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented YouTube video editor who can move fast, communicate clearly, follow instructions precisely, and proactively improve viewer engagement.

The Role (Read Carefully)
This role requires both execution and judgment.

You will receive:
Clear timestamps
Specific edit notes like:
“Cut here,” “Blur this section,” “Trim this segment,” “Add this graphic”

You are expected to:
Follow all edit notes exactly
Proactively add value where appropriate

If there are long stretches of talking-head footage, we expect you to:
Add subtle engagement elements (light motion, b-roll, graphics, zooms, emphasis text, etc.)
Keep the viewer visually engaged without being distracting
Use good editorial judgment rather than waiting to be told every enhancement
Important: Videos already include transitions, screen recordings, and captions. You are not responsible for adding those.

This is not a “do only what I say and nothing more” role, and it is not a freestyle creative role. We want thoughtful execution within clear direction.

What You’ll Do
Edit 3–8 minute YouTube videos with clean pacing and strong viewer retention
Create 30–60 second derivative clips from long-form content
Apply requested cuts, blurs, overlays, and graphics
Add engagement-enhancing visuals during longer talking segments
Create simple, high-converting YouTube thumbnails in Canva (or similar)
Deliver edits on tight timelines
Communicate exclusively via Slack
Apply feedback accurately and consistently

Non-Negotiables (Please Don’t Apply If These Don’t Fit)
You follow time-stamped instructions exactly
You proactively improve engagement where appropriate
You respond reliably on Slack during agreed working hours
You communicate proactively if timelines change
You are comfortable with $15–$25 per video
You want consistent, long-term project-based work
If you are slow to respond, or require repeated reminders, this role will not be a fit.

What We’re Looking For
Proven YouTube editing experience (3–8 minute videos)
Strong short-form repurposing skills (30–60s clips)
Canva thumbnail experience
Good editorial instincts (knowing when to add visual interest)
High attention to detail
Fast turnaround mindset
Clear communicator

Bonus (Not Required):
Experience with eCommerce or Amazon-related content

Compensation
$15–$25 per completed video, based on length and complexity
Paid per project
Rates may be revisited only after consistency and reliability are proven
Steady weekly work for the right editor

After reviewing portfolios and examples similar to the work we’re requesting, selected candidates will be invited to complete a paid test edit. This helps ensure alignment on quality, responsiveness, and editing judgment before ongoing work begins.
